Details: The durations of the performers sounds is related by the length of their exhalations. The performers are deprived of the ability to hear themselves and each other because as they are instructed to listen to unrelated loud music on headphones. In these ways, neither the composer, nor the performers are in direct control of what the listener experiences. Recorded live at the Pescadrome in Santa Barbara, CA. 1-2007
